The first Dutch ginger gin won a Golden Quality Award during the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC). The experienced international jury awarded GINGERY Poolside Gin with a gold medal and it may rally under one of the best gins of the world. The internationally renowned competition is highly regarded.
Of the nearly 1200 submitted spirits only approximately 60 receive a gold medal.

Founders Pascal, Paul, Robin, and Daan are proud of the prize; “We introduced our gin only a few months ago and to already get this international recognition is a great honour”. Paul already indicated that during the creative process it was not simple to achieve the perfect mix of gin, juniper and other herbs.
“To find the balance between the various ingredients was quite a challenge. It therefore took us more than a year to find the right blend”. “The fact that the taste of the gin is highly appreciated by the international experts makes us very confident for the future”, says Pascal.

“We wanted to make a fresh and aromatic gin with clear notes of ginger and citrus, a nice basis for a refreshing gin and tonic. The name Poolside Gin goes perfectly with this”, according to Robin Karels.
And because the men from Amsterdam are into drinks with a certain complexity, pear and exotic pepper have been added apart from organic ginger.
Earlier GINGERY launched a ginger liqueur which was also awarded a silver medal during the IWSC. Just like the Poolside Gin, the liqueur, named Boozy Ginger Juice, can be ordered at Gingery.nl and is available at various bars and liquor stores.
